Week In Review

Good morning!

Well, sort of. We went out for Josh’s birthday last night and his friends got him completely wrecked. It was a late night and as someone who’s usually in bed by eleven at the latest, I’m definitely feeling the effects this morning. On the bright side, I was designated driver, so at least I’m not hungover on top of feeling like a zombie.

The gym is obviously out of the question this morning, but I booked a hot yoga class for the afternoon. I’m hoping I’ll be more awake by then, otherwise I might spend the full hour in child’s pose. Sleeping.

The Week in Fitness

Sunday – BodyPump / CXWORX

Monday – Rest

Tuesday – RPM

Wednesday – BodyPump 81 + Yoga

Thursday – Rest

Friday – Power Sweat 60

Saturday – BodyAttack

In yesterday’s BodyAttack class, we got a sneak peek of the new release in Tracks 3, 4 and 5. Track 3 is a breeze. Track 4 is tough but easier than usual, as there aren’t any plyometric lunges (lots of squat jumps though). Track 5 is tough – I couldn’t crank out even one push up on my toes. I killed the plank jump move though.

And because I have a lot of pretty pictures of food on my camera, here’s what I ate this week:

Thai Salad with Chicken

Chorizo Chicken

Meatballs with Egg Noodles and Cream Sauce

Omelette with Thai Salad

Extreme Pita Falafel Pita

I have a few new recipes from my new cook book that I’m looking forward to trying this week.

That’s all for now – think I’m going to wake Josh up and make him some extremely greasy hangover food ;)

Have a good week!

  1. Haha I was definitely sleep deprived Saturday morning, but I didn’t drink on Friday night (even though we had a huge bday party for my roomies) so I think I was the only one at my house not battling a headache! haha

  2. Those balls look good. Hahaha. Seriously though, yummy! I hope yoga was a success :)

  4. Mmmm you have made me SO hungry!!! Sometimes I find I get so tired that even thought I’m not hungover, it feels like it! Annoying.

I love falafel so much :-)
